We build AI that stays.
The Lasting Method exists because most AI never makes it past the demo. We design AI employees your team owns and actually uses, so the work gets lighter and stays that way.
For DTC brands doing $1M to $10M in revenue.
Most AI gets bought, then quietly abandoned.
A company buys a tool, runs a pilot, and a few months later it sits unused. The model was never trained on the business, never wired into the real workflow, and never owned by anyone, so the work loops back to a human and the tool becomes shelfware.
We built The Lasting Method to do the opposite. We design AI employees scoped to a real job, trained on your voice and your data, deployed inside the tools your team already uses, and handed to you to own outright. The name is the promise. We build the kind of AI that is still working a year later, because your team runs it and the asset is yours.
Meet Lisa Hayford.
Lisa Hayford founded The Lasting Method to do AI implementation the way it should be done, scoped to the work, trained on the business, and handed over so the client owns it outright. The focus is making AI stick rather than become shelfware, for DTC brands doing $1M to $10M in revenue.
She came to it after more than 25 years in C-level marketing and technology roles, where she watched the same pattern repeat. AI was everywhere, and almost none of it was being used properly.
Companies were renting generic tools that never learned the business. Pilots dazzled in a demo and then stalled before anyone relied on them. AI got bolted on next to the work instead of built into it, so every task still looped back to a person. Nobody owned the result and nobody was trained to run it, so within months the expensive new thing sat unused. The Lasting Method is her answer to that waste, AI scoped to a real job, trained on your voice and data, deployed in your tools, and handed to your team to keep.
What a build gives back.
Proof from the work, not projections.
One client, first year
Not every brand should hire us.
Three lines we do not cross. They are how you know whether we are the right firm.
We build nothing nobody will own
Every AI employee belongs to a human on your team. AI without a manager becomes shelfware, and we refuse to build shelfware. If you do not want to assign ownership, we are the wrong firm.
We grow teams, we do not shrink them
We are hired by founders who want to grow without proportional hiring, not by those who want to thin the team. If the goal is fewer humans, the goal is wrong. The goal is to put humans on better work.
We install systems, not demos
A single chatbot with no architecture, no method, and no handoff is a demo. We do not do demos or one-offs. We do engagements that hand you a system your team will run for years.
See whether we are the right fit.
